Selecting/copying alternate rows

I've copied every other row in a spreadsheet using Ku Tools.  When I go to paste the data, instead of it still being in every other row it compresses all the data.  For instance, I copy a2, a4, a6 and want to copy into b2, b4, b6.  When I choose to paste in b2, it instead pastes into b2, b3 and b4.  Any way for it to not compress the copied data?
